TERMS AND CONDITIONS By registering for this auction, you indicate that you have read and agree to the full terms and conditions set forth below. The purchase price shall be the final hammer price plus a buyer?s premium of 23% and any applicable sales tax. Ohio dealers and resellers should submit an exemption form prior to bidding. Bids are considered binding contracts to purchase. We strive to provide accurate descriptions and condition reports, but all lots are sold AS IS. Please read the descriptions and examine the photos. We are happy to answer your questions and provide additional and higher-resolution photographs. Please ask! We will answer questions in the order in which they are received. By bidding on any lot, you acknowledge that you are satisfied with the item(s) as is and that all sales are final. A SPECIAL NOTE ON IVORY: there are a few lots in this auction that are comprised wholly or in part of ivory. Buyers are responsible to adhere to any and all local, state, and federal laws regarding the ownership, purchase, and shipping of ivory. The Ohio Company will not export any lots containing ivory. Bidding will take place on the Live Auctioneers platform. Bids may be left in advance of the auction, or you may bid live during the sale on April 7. The execution of bids will be handled by the bidding platform. The Ohio Company Antiques & Art will not be held liable for any missed bids due to technical issues or loss of internet connectivity. Invoices will be sent out within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Payment is due upon receipt of that invoice and may be made by clicking the ?Pay Now? button in the invoice (and using a credit or debit card). Payment may also be made by cash or check via mail (The Ohio Company Antiques & Art, PO Box 2199, Marietta, OH 45750) or at the time of pickup. If you do not have a tax resale ID number and wish to pay when you pick up, we must charge the applicable sales tax. All Ohio buyers who do not have a valid resale ID number will be charged sales tax. The buyer's premium is the same regardless of payment method. No lots will be released without payment. We will have some in-house shipping for this auction. Please see each item description to see that item can be shipped by us. We will ship most smaller items in-house and charge you ONLY for the actual cost of packaging, shipping, and insurance. The cost to ship will NOT be on your original Live Auctioneers invoice. We will send a separate invoice for the shipping charge, so please pay the sale invoice immediately and we will calculate the shipping charge and send a second invoice. Larger and fragile items will be referred to a third-party shipper for packing and shipping. We will transport your item(s) to them and you will pay them directly for packing and shipping. We are happy to obtain a shipping quote for these items before the auction, and we strongly encourage you to request one. For furniture, it is the buyer?s responsibility to transport or arrange for transportation. If you do not have a preferred furniture shipper, we are happy to facilitate this process. Please contact us before bidding for a referral and shipping quote. Items may be picked up in Lancaster, Ohio BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance of your desired pickup date. If you are attending the Ohio Country Antiques Show in Wilmington, Ohio on Saturday, April 10, we can offer free delivery to that show if you make arrangements beforehand. Delivery elsewhere within Ohio may also be possible. Please contact us prior to bidding to see if this is a possibility.

If you have not contacted The Ohio Company Antiques & Art to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
