He was mentored by such legendary Renaissance and Baroque specialists as Wilhelm Valentiner, Sir John Pope-Hennessy and Sir Kenneth Clark, among others. His client list grew to include among others, Charles and Jayne Wrightsman, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Art, Boston, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Detroit Institute of Art. The Hall Collection, consisting of over 150 lots, features Italian 18th and 19th century furniture, Asian ceramics and sculpture, several pieces of grotto furniture, and a fine selection of European 19th century bronze sculpture.
