Ancient Charm Auction

We're pleased to announce with great honor that The Ancient Charm Auction House will be hosting a charity auction for the Derlong Temple. The Derlong Temple is a Tibetan monastery located in the Treasury Valley of GerTang Township, Xiahe County of the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It was built in the 13th century and has a history of 800 years. The Derlong Temple is very famous in Gannan. Besides regular pujas and ceremonies on holy days & observances, they also have some irregular activities like chanting for almsgiving and mourning rituals for the dead. The Derlong Temple has been keeping striving to make contributions in inheritance and promotion of the Tibetan Buddhism beliefs. Up to now, some of the temple buildings have been suffering from disrepair for a long time. The roofs are broken and sinking, and the rafters are severely damaged. Based on this situation, our company has decided to donate the commission from the auction minus operating expenditure to the Derlong Temple for construction repair and maintenance. We will provide more details on the financial support after the auction.
