All items in our auction are antique and sometimes well over two thousand years old, so you may expect some chips, hairlines, other damage or restoration to have occurred. Absentee Bidding Allowed but there is only limited phone bidding with advance notice. 2.The following terms apply to all bidders in this auction. Your submission of bids in this auction constitutes your acceptance of these "Terms of Sale." 3. We guarantee our descriptions. Please read our descriptions and examine our photographs as they constitute part of our descriptions. If you have any questions or wish to see more photographs, please ask several days in advance. We will try to accommodate your request in a timely fashion. However, if you have not received a satisfactory reply by the time the item comes up for auction, please do not bid as all bids are final. Items won at our auction are considered sold, not on approval or conditional sale. 4. Successful bidders guarantee payment for all Lots won at our sale. No Lots will be released until payment in full has been received by the Auctioneer. 5. In the event of a dispute regarding the final price achieved on any given Lot or the manner and exact circumstances of its sale, the resolution of the dispute will rest exclusively at the judgement and discretion of the Auctioneer who may reopen the Lot for bidding or award the Lot to the last bidder on record. 6. All successful bidders who are Massachusetts residents and who are not tax exempt must pay the prevailing State of MA Sales Tax which currently is 6.25%. 7. We will accept the return of an item only if our description of the item is incorrect, however, we must be notified of the return within three days from receipt of the item. A letter from an expert in the field pertaining to the item must be presented for a refund. All return shipping is at the bidder's expense. Item(s) must be returned in the same condition as it was sold. 9. Shipping and associated expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. In-House shipping is available for small items and on a limited basis. Most of the Lots in this auction require third party shipping only. When your invoice has been paid, we will send you a list of local shippers whom you may contact to obtain shipping quotes for your items. We will deliver your purchase to the shipper of your choice who will then pack and ship your winning Lot(s) to you. 10. We accept payment by personal check, cash, bank check, bank wire transfer, or PayPal. Cards accepted: Amex, Visa, Master Card. Please NOTE that payment by Paypal or Credit Card incurs a processing fee of 5% payable by the buyer. 11. International Bidders: Your bids are welcome. All associated paperwork and expenses are the responsibility of the Buyer. We will gladly supply verifiable paperwork to your customs Agent.
