Part 2 of The Virgil Y. Russell Collection

We are proud to present the second and final sale of many items originally in the Virgil Y. Russell Collection. Mr. Russell (1895-1957) was an early collector, dealer, and author in the Native American Artifacts community, and published two books on artifacts which are highly sought after to this day. We are lucky that the collector who acquired so many of Russell's fine artifacts retained many of the original provenance letters and correspondence between himself and Virgil so many years ago. These letters were invaluable in demonstrating the true provenance of the collection.
