JAMES ISIDOR KAISER (Brilon 1890-Copenhagen 1965), entrepreneur, Berlin, Copenhagen. James Isidor Kaiser was born on May 6, 1890 in Brilon, North Rhine-Westphalia, the son of Arthur Kaiser and Mathilde Kaiser (née Steinberg). In October of 1912, at the age of twenty two, Isi was sent by his employer, Salomon Brothers & Co (a paper manufacturer), to the United States where he was mainly based in New York during his eight-year stay. After his return to Berlin, he founded Darag Deutsch-Amerikanische Rohstoff-Gesellschaft in 1922, which also dealt paper.
