Outstanding Train and Erector Auction!

Stout Auction's is proud to offer for sale the INCREDIBLE collections of William Bean TCA71-3698, author of the two Greenberg's Guides to Erector Sets. This amazing offering will include Mr. Bean's absolutely unparalleled Erector set collection. Bill has been a friend and long time customer for many, many years and has decided it is time for other people to enjoy his many years of labor and joy collecting his trains and Erector. This auction will be the first half of the Erector collection and will include many sets that are all 100% complete and as nice as you can get. The "extras" in the collection are out of this world and will include dealer displays, the Erector movie props from the movie "The Man Who Saved Christmas", a dazzling array of rare paper and other oddities. If you are a major Erector collector or even have just a minor interest- you need to attend this auction of Erector. The Erector sets in the auction are every bit as good as I had imagined and better! However, I was absolutely in awe of Bill's train collection. I did not expect to see that level of quality, rarity and boxes that I saw in this great collection. The trains include fully boxed sets such as the 700E Rail Chief, 700E scale freight, 700E in master carton, 763E sets in set boxes, 763E with gray coal pile, scale and semi scale switchers and many of other great prewar sets in boxes. The postwar Lionel trains are primarily earlier postwar and they are the WOW kind of trains. Sets you rarely see at all, let alone high grade with set boxes! This is a must attend event!
