Alderfer Auction presents their June Fine & Decorative Arts Auction featuring fine crafted jewelry, silver, decorative art, modern as well as period furniture, artwork, and rugs. Jewelry will begin the sale with a classic Cartier 18k Gold Diamond Juste un Clou Bracelet, a stunning and rare Orange Sapphire and Diamond Ring, a Rolex Wristwatch, and a 1.70 carat Solitaire Diamond Ring. Silver will be highlighted by nine different sterling silver flatware services, two by the Danish silversmith designer Georg Jensen. Nautical themed selections feature S.S. Normandie Pierre Patout 1st Class Armchairs, an RMS Queen Mary Deckchair, a Cabin Washstand, and a Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk. Finishing this section is a signed first-edition publication of The Sinking of the SS Titanic. More decorative highlights include a pair of monumental Black Forest carved clocks, both of which have musical boxes built into them. There is also a Louis XIV signed document, Lucio Bubacco stemware, and large Art Deco Posters. Furniture continues the auction with hand-crafted pieces by Gino Russo and Cesare Occhi; two artists who both studied at the George Nakashima workshop. Also featured is a Georgian Secretary, Nierman Weeks Chairs and fine Persian Rugs. Moving into artwork, the auction offers selections by Henry Lavender Adolphus Culmer, Willy Eisenschitz, R.A.D. Miller, Enrique Roldan, Walter E. Baum, Harry Leith-Ross, Charles Hargens, Phillipe Sirois and William Francis Taylor. Concluding with bronze and kinetic sculptures by Dave McGary, Constantin Hapaianu, Jeffery Zachmann, and Val Bertoia.
