The Coffee Americana Collection

The 50+ year lifetime collection of Roy and the late Jo Ann Coffee of Ashley, Ohio including 250+ lots of well-documented William & Mary, Queen Anne, Chippendale, and Federal painted and country furniture, folk art and decorative accessories including items from renowned auctions such as the Jerome Sackheim, Mary Thornton, and Hattie Brunner sales conducted by Garth's Auctions in Delaware, Ohio under Tom and Carolyn Porter. Select items illustrated in American Furniture by Wallace Nutting, The Pine Furniture of New England by Russell Kettell and more. Most items retained the original receipts from purchase made as far back as 1970. Jo Ann Coffee was a passionate collector and scholar of American antiques, having consulted on several of her pieces with many distinguished historians and antiques and art professionals, including Gordon Saltar of Winterthur.
