TERMS AND CONDITIONS By registering for this auction, you indicate that you have read and agree to the full terms and conditions set forth below. The purchase price shall be the final hammer price plus a buyer?s premium of 18% (23% for Live Auctioneer bidders). We strive to provide accurate descriptions and condition reports, but all lots are sold AS IS. Please read the descriptions and examine the photos. We are happy to answer your questions and provide additional and higher-resolution photographs. Please ask! We will answer questions in the order in which they are received. By bidding on any lot, you acknowledge that you are satisfied with the item(s) as is and are prepared to pick up or have shipped every item in all lots purchased. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You may bid in our auction in two ways: 1. Place an absentee bid directly with us (call or email for more information). We will execute your bid competitively and honestly. Absentee bids left directly with us are subject to a buyer?s premium of 18%. 2. Bid via our online bidding platform, Live Auctioneers. Bids may be left in advance of the auction, or you may bid live during the sale on June 29. The execution of online bids will be handled by the bidding platform. The Ohio Company Antiques & Art will not be held liable for any missed bids due to technical issues or loss of internet connectivity. Bids executed through Live Auctioneers are subject to a buyer?s premium of 23% (LA retains a 5% commission on lots sold through their platform, so we still only receive an 18% buyer?s premium). The auctioneer will have sole discretion to settle any and all bidding disputes. PAYMENT Invoices will be sent out the day after the auction. Payment is due upon receipt of that invoice. We accept most major credits, as well as cash (if you are picking up). Payment may be made by phone or at the time of pickup. Live Auctioneers bidders can use the ?Pay Now? button on their invoice. We are happy to email you an invoice with a click-and-pay option if you wish. The buyer's premium is the same regardless of payment method. No lots will be released without full payment. PICKUP All purchases may be picked up on Saturday, July 2, from 10am to 4pm in Shaker Heights, Ohio (the address will be included in the invoice). SHIPPING All purchases may be picked up on Saturday, July 2, from 10am to 4pm in Shaker Heights, Ohio (the address will be included in the invoice). We will have some in-house shipping for this auction. Items eligible for in-house shipping will be noted in the condition description. We will ship most smaller items in-house and charge you only for the actual cost of packaging, shipping, and insurance. THE COST FOR SHIPPING WILL NOT BE ON YOUR INITIAL INVOICE. We will send a separate invoice for the shipping charge, so please pay the sale invoice immediately and let us know if you wish us to ship your item(s). We will then calculate the shipping charge and send a second invoice. For some larger or more fragile lots, we can deliver to our local UPS Store (Marietta, Ohio) at no charge. You must make arrangements for us to do this, and you will then deal directly with the UPS Store for payment. You may contact the Marietta UPS Store for a cost quote prior to bidding. Email them at store2513@theupsstore.com and let them know you are bidding in our auction. FOR ALL ITEMS TOO LARGE TO SHIP (such as furniture and larger ?cleanout? lots): you MUST pick up, or arrange for pickup, during the July 2 pickup window. This is the ONLY option for these larger items, so please plan accordingly. Buyers of any of these lots left after July 2 will be billed $25/day per lot for one week, and then will be considered abandoned and disposed of at our discretion. If you have not contacted The Ohio Company Antiques & Art to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
