By bidding at our auction, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. As used in the following terms and conditions, "FFC", "We", and "Us" refers to FlipFlop Comics LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company dba FlipFlop Comics & Auctions. 1) Items are sold to the highest bidder. A Buyers Premium of 18% will be added to the Hammer Price of each lot. All bids are contractual obligations requiring all bidders to honor their bids as contracts to buy the items involved. Once a bid has been placed, it may not be retracted, and no retraction of bids is permitted for any reason. FFC will not be held responsible for errors or failures to execute bids via the LiveAuctioneers platform, including technology malfunctions, user errors, or accidental bids during the auction. 2) All goods are sold "As-Is", and all sales are final. No refunds, returns, exchanges, or credits. No claims will be permitted 48 hours after receipt of item delivery. No returns will be permitted for any reason. FFC reserves the right to cancel the auction or re-schedule the closing dates without recourse from any bidder or prospective bidder. 3) Purchases are insured up to the purchase price to protect against damage or loss during carrier transport, which is out of our control. We will refund only the purchase price to the original payment method excluding shipping costs and Buyers Premium. Reimbursement for loss or damage will not occur until the claim process has been concluded, which could take up to 4 weeks. 4) In the event of damage or loss during transport, please follow these steps: 4a. Per carrier discretion they may want to see the shipping box in person to file a claim so please keep all materials including packaging (shipping box, packaging materials) as well as the damaged item itself. If you discard the box and materials the claim will be denied, and insurance voided by the Buyer. All carriers require detailed photos of the damage including photos of the box the item was delivered in. 4b. Contact FlipFlop Comics & Auctions in writing immediately via email at info@flipflopcomics.com, and include the following information: Your full name, lot numbers, detailed description of the issue, photos of all damage including the item and the shipping box. 4c. FFC will then contact the carrier to start the claim process. If a package is lost, we will contact the carrier and request a package tracer. The purpose of the tracer is to provide proof of delivery or if unable to prove delivery, request a claim for loss. 5. Please note we are not professionally certified graders and do not offer grading scale condition of raw comics and collectibles. Please review item descriptions and photos carefully before bidding. Bidders are solely responsible for examining each lot on which they will be bidding to determine condition, size, value, and need for restoration or repair. Neither the auctioneer nor the consignor makes any warranties and representations of any kind, nor shall they be held responsible or liable for the correctness of the catalog or other description of the physical condition, size, quality, rarity, provenance, of the property.
