of the estate of the late Virginia J. Harrison, we will sell at public auction
the contents of her majestic stately home in the Sea Pines area of Hilton
Head Island, South Carolina. This important estate includes American, English
and French furniture, oil paintings, mirrors, clocks, silver, porcelains,
chandeliers, sconces, statuary and many decorative and unusual objects of
art. Included in the collection is an American portrait of “Missouri
and Virginia Chase” by James F. Wilkins.
In addition, we will sell the very fine collection of furniture, oriental
porcelains and bronzes, ivory netsukes and carvings, oriental rugs, tapestries,
custom lamps and silver from Mr. Jurius S. “Bud” Coley, well known
dealer and designer from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, a collection of estate
jewelry and an outstanding consignment of oriental rugs.
