Labor Day Weekend WOODSTOCK FINE ART AUCTION

Ninth annual benefit auction co-sponsored by the Woodstock Artists Association and Museum and the James Cox Gallery at Woodstock. Over 260 pieces of fine art - 95% sold at no reserve. Oil paintings, fine prints, works on paper, sculpture and historic ephemera. Premium examples by 20th century American and European artists. A special concentration on well-known artists of the historic Woodstock art colony, 1920-1960. Also contemporary New York City and American regional painters and printmakers. Bidders are encouraged to attend an 8-day preview at the Woodstock Artists Association and Museum (Center of Woodstock, New York) where the sale will be conducted on Sunday, September 4, 2011, beginning at 1:00 pm.eastern time.
