RIDDELL RARE MAPS - ANTIQUE MAP SHOP AUCTION

CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. AUCTION PREVIEW. All property should be inspected by the buyer or an agent prior to purchase. All items in the sale are being sold, "as is, where is" without warranties or guarantees and with all faults. Bidders should satisfy themselves as to the usefulness and value of each item. Any statement made by the auctioneers or seller regarding the items to be sold should be considered a guide and guide only. Any error in description does not relieve the buyer or his agent of their responsibilities. Any dispute among bidders will be settled by the auctioneer at his sole discretion, and his decision and remedy will be deemed final. 2. BUYING AT AUCTION. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. The auctioneer has the right to reject any bid and, in the event of any dispute between bidders, to determine the successful bidder, to continue the bidding, or to re-offer and resell the lot in question. In the event of any dispute after the sale, the final record of sale of Riddell Rare Maps & Fine Prints shall be conclusive. By bidding at auction, whether present in person or by agent or by written bid, the buyer agrees to be bound by these Conditions of Sale. 3. SELLER'S RIGHT TO WITHDRAW. Riddell Rare Maps & Fine Prints reserves the right to withdraw any lot before or at the sale. 4. RESERVE. Some items are subject to a reserve and will not be sold below the reserve price. In the case of reserve items, the auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of the seller up to reserve price. Pre-sale estimates are approximations of current market value that are prepared well in advance of the auction and should not be considered predictions of actual sales prices. 5. BUYER'S RESPONSIBLITY. Title to the offered lot shall pass to the buyer upon the fall of the auctioneer’s hammer and announcement by the auctioneer that the lot has been sold, subject to compliance by the buyer with all other Conditions of Sale. The buyer shall forthwith assume full risk and responsibility for the lot and shall pay the full purchase price. 6. BUYER’S PREMIUM. There will be a 20% buyer's premium added to each item purchased. 7. SALES TAX. The buyer is required to pay any applicable sale tax on the purchase price. Exemption certificates are required to be on file to waive this tax. 8. PAYMENT. All articles are to be paid by paypal, approved credit cards, the day of the sale or with company or personal checks, as arranged the day of the sale. No purchases will be shipped until paid for in full. 9. SHIPPING CHARGES. Riddell Rare Maps & Fine Prints may arrange to have purchased lots packed, insured, and shipped at the request, expense, and risk of the buyer. This will be done as a service to the buyer, and Riddell Rare Maps & Fine Prints assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping.
