Major December Auction, Day 4 of 4: Estates

New Orleans Auction Gallery invites you to participate in our spectacular Four-Day December sale, featuring over 2,200 lots, including nearly 1,600 lot of all Asian fine and decorative arts to be offered in a special three-day session December 6-8, 2011. Among the pieces to be offered are a rare Kangxi Period Zisha teapot made by Chen Mingyuan with the original wooden case, a fine Qianlong Period painted enamel teapot in the Imperial taste, a collection of major Chinese early 20th century scrolls by modern masters including Qi Baishi, Wu Ganzhong, Liu Haisu and Li Kersan, and a large collection of early Chinese pottery vessels and burial figures from the Neolithic Period through the Tang Dynasty. The fourth day will feature beautiful fine art, antiques and decorative arts from major estates. These offerings will include over five troy pounds of 17th century Spanish high carat gold bars and other treasures recovered from the Dry Tortugas wreck, 17th century tapestries, paintings by Maurice de Vlaminck, Camille Bellanger, William Woodward and others, fine Georgian and Regency silver, antique and estate jewelry, Judith Leiber handbags and more.
