The Winter Sale 2023, Day 1

Friday, Feb. 24, 10 AM, Lots 1-337 Copley's Winter Sale 2023 will feature over 650 lots of the finest 19th- and 20th-century American, sporting, and wildlife paintings, etchings, antique decoys, bird carvings, bronzes, fishing collectibles, folk art, and powder tins. The auction will be live-streamed and will utilize phone, absentee, and internet bidding. The auction features several of the nation's top decoy and sporting art collections, including the Stephen B. O'Brien Sr. Collection of Nantucket Carvings, the Richard and Dorothy Wheeler Collection of Pacific Coast Bird Carvings, the second session of the Michael Boxer Collection of American Bird Carvings, the Harry and Judy Bextel Collection, and sporting art from the Estate of Ann Dickinson Dale. The sale will also include selections from the Donald Kirson Collection, the Ted and Judy Harmon Collection, the Kangas Collection of International Folk Art and Decoys, and a number of other private collections.
