On February 16th, Capsule presents Fashion, Art, & Design, a curated sale of paintings, prints, works on paper, sculpture and photography from important estates and collections. The auction includes Pop Art, Op Art, and Post-Painterly Abstraction in addition to design items by several important designers. Just in time for New York fashion week, the sale also offers property from the estate of prolific fashion designer Geoffrey Beene, proceeds from which will benefit the Beene Foundation's cancer research initiatives.
