Please carefully read the following Terms of Sale. The terms are applicable to all bidders, collectors and dealers. Submission of bids in the auction confirms your acceptance of these terms. 1. All listed items in the auction have been acquired legally and are legal to sell. All items are sold as is. Discover African Art is not responsible for correctness regarding origin, period, provenance or culture. Buyers are encouraged to inspect each lot carefully. 2. This auction contains items with no reserve pricing. Items with no reserve means there is no minimum price set, so the item is guaranteed to sell regardless of what the winning bid price is. 3. All bidding is to be conducted online via liveauctioneers. Phone bidding is not available. 4. Due to this being an auction sale, by bidding in the auction you are personally guaranteeing payment. In the event of a dispute, the lot(s) in question may be resold. Bidding on any item in this sale indicates your acceptance of these terms. All sales are final and no refunds will be granted. 5. Bidders are expected to pay for their won auctions within 3 days of the invoice being sent to them. 6. Payment Payment must be paid in full before the lots are shipped. Invoices will be sent the day after the auction completion. Accepted payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. If you have not contacted Discover African Art to arrange payment within 3 days of the invoice being sent, the credit card on file will be charged the amount of your invoice. 7. Estimates Low and high estimates may be provided and are for reference only. Lots may sell for a price lesser or greater than the estimates provided in the lot descriptions. Estimates are to be used as a guide to assist with bidding. 8. Return Policy Returns are not accepted. 9. Shipping All shipping is handled by Discover African Art personnel and will be packaged up within 14 days of payment received. Detailed invoices with purchase total and shipping costs will be sent to all buyers after the auction. Any questions regarding the shipping costs of lots may be asked prior to bidding. Shipping insurance is available upon request. International Shipping: Customs and duties are the buyers responsibility. Discover African Art will declare the full value of the purchased lot and will not falsify customs documents. Request for delayed shipping of lots are accepted. Discover African Art will delay shipping free of charge for 21 days. After 21 days we will charge a 5% invoice total for the storage fee. Buyer agrees all packaging, handling and delivery is at the sole risk of the buyer and that Discover African Art shall have no liability for any loss or damage to such items after the lots leave the warehouse. The buyer will pay in advance, all packaging expenses, including labor, materials, carrier fees and all insurance charges (when applicable). Please arrange seventy-two hours in advance for pick-up from the Discover African Art warehouse. Discover African Art will not cancel sale due to shipping. If items are returned to Discover African Art due to incorrect address provided at checkout or shipping errors, the buyer will be obligated to make a 2nd payment for shipping and will be liable for other fees and taxes that were associated with the lot(s) being directed back. Should the buyer not honor the obligation, they will violate the terms of the sale. Should the buyer want to be released from the sale after the initial payment, it is at Discover African Art?s discretion to honor that request. However, the shipping cost and excess fees would be withheld from the refund as services rendered. 10. Questions? Please email all questions to contact@discoverafricanart.com.

If you have not contacted Discover African Art to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
