Fine Asian, European & Islamic arts
Within the range of Asian art, we will start with a large selection of Chinese porcelain from the Ming, Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong, 19th and 20th century periods, including famille rose, famille verte, blue-white and Imari style items. Subsequently, there is a large selection of Chinese paintings and textiles.
Afterwards we continue with an extensive Japanese art collection and several dozen items from Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, etc. Islamic art is also on the agenda.
We conclude with a wide range of European art, consisting of carpets, furniture, decorative arts, graphic arts and paintings from the 16th century up to and including the 21st century. So both the old masters and the contemporary artists are part of the sale.
Don't forget to check out also the first day of our two-day auction.
