Over 500 lots of fine literature featuring large samplings of scarce works by Raymond Carver, Haruki Murakami, Jack London and other major voices of 20th century literature, as well as first editions from Charles Dickens and Mark Twain. Section II features scarce works from the counterculture and the Beat Generation, including a copy of Allen Ginsberg's Howl inscribed by Neal Cassady. Charles Bukowski is represented with numerous rare editions and original letters and poems, and a section of posters features a large archive from the 1970 Berkeley Political Poster Workshop and a first printing of the iconic ?skeleton and roses?
