REGISTRATION By registering to bid and/or bidding at auction, bidder agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions of sale. If a buyer does not adhere to these terms of sale, Antique Legacy maintains the right to cancel the sale and reoffer the property without reserve. Bidder approval and online registration is up to the sole discretion of Antique Legacy. It is recommended that online bidders sign up at least 24 hours prior to the auction to allow sufficient time to complete the approval process. Registration will not be approved during a live auction sale. CONDITION REPORTS - DISCLAIMER All items are sold “as is,” in the condition they are in at the time of the auction. The physical condition of items can vary due to age, normal wear and tear, previous damage and any repairs or restoration. Please review photos, description and condition report before bidding. Please note that when viewing photographs, colors may appear different on the screen than in person. All sales are final. Antique Legacy assumes no liability of any kind as to the condition of any item. Condition reports are provided as a courtesy. They are strictly an opinion and do not act as a statement of fact, warranty or guarantee in any way. The bidder should review all photos and descriptions to determine the condition to their own satisfaction before placing a bid. Antique Legacy will not be held responsible for any error or omission. AUCTION BIDDING The auctioneer has the right to refuse any bid and will settle any dispute between bidders at his/her absolute discretion. The auctioneer retains the right to advance the bidding or to determine the winning bid during a dispute. Absentee bids and telephone bids are offered as a courtesy to our clients. Absentee bids must be entered online prior to the start of the auction sale. Antique Legacy will make every effort to process bids but will not be held responsible for any failure to execute any absentee or telephone bid. Absentee bids must follow set bid increments. If the left bid falls below the next bid increment, the bid will not be accepted. Bidders may be required to provide a government issued identification confirming the bidder’s name and address of residence or business, along with residential or business telephone number. They will also be required to provide credit card information and may be required to leave a deposit prior to bidding. Antique Legacy reserves the right to withdraw any item or cancel any lot for sale before or during the auction at any time. Antique Legacy retains the right to offer auction items subject to a reserve price. A reserve price is the minimum price that must be realized before the item can be sold. The reserve price is confidential between the consignor and Antique Legacy. The auctioneer may open the bidding on any item by placing a bid on behalf of the consignor. The auctioneer may further bid on behalf of the consignor, up to the reserve price, by placing bids in response to other bidders. Estimates are listed for each lot on auction. They do not constitute a guarantee or warranty that the lot will close between the estimated values. Estimates are based on similar items sold in previous sales.
