Featuring an art glass collection of a prominent Boston collector amassed over a 40 year period, as well as spectacular bronzes and modern furniture. Each piece in this Le Verre Francais cameo glass collection bears the signature blue, white and red candy cane and is of the period. The pieces are large, rare and have the unusual shapes coveted by knowledgeable collectors. Bruno Zach, Guiraud Riviere, Raoul Lamourrdieu, A. Sadoux and many sculptors of the period are represented in the bronzes category of the sale. The modern furniture features artists such as Alvar Aalto, Hans Wegner for Getama Denmark, Mario Bellini for C+B Italia, George Nelson for Herman Miller, and Richard Schultz for Knoll.
