Fine Asian Art and Antiques Day 1

Kaminski Auctions is hosting its spring two-day Asian Auction, showcasing fine porcelain, calligraphy, paintings, jade and ivory pieces. The sale will also feature the collection of Wen Tsan Yu (1892-1952), a Peking University professor who had graduated from the University of Chicago in 1916 with a Ph.B degree and from Harvard University in 1919 with a LL.B. Many items in the collection were personally dedicated to Yu San, Yu's moniker. For over fifty years, this collection has been treasured by the family, This prominent Chinese family can also trace its descent to Moy Toy Ni (Charlie Toy) of Milwaukee, a successful businessman widely known as Chinese Rockefeller during the early 20th century.
