The June 16, 2023 Dust Shuttle Collection III Auction is an online only auction. All bidding will take place online. By registering to bid and/or submitting any bid, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. We thank you for your interest and participation. REGISTRATION - In order to bid in this auction on the Live Auctioneers platform, you must register online through Live Auctioneers. - Bidders with no or limited history with Briggs Auction may be required to provide us with additional information that may include but may not be limited to: - A photo or scan of their driver's license - A photo or scan of a current utility bill with name and address matching the driver's license and submitted bidder registration details. - ALL BIDDERS MUST BE REGISTERED AND APPROVED BY 5PM on THURSDAY, JUNE 15, 2023. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE APPROVAL TO BID IN THIS AUCTION AFTER 5PM ON JUNE 15, 2023. BIDDING - Bidding for this auction will be ONLINE ONLY. - Online absentee/pre-auction bids will be accepted prior to the auction start time. At 10AM on June 16, the auction will offer real-time, online-only bidding. - Telephone bidding is not available for this auction. - Owner or Owner's Agent may not bid on his/her own items. - The Auction record kept by Auctioneer and Clerk is final. - The highest bidder for each lot shall be the buyer, and if any dispute arises as to any bidding, or between two or more bidders, the auctioneer will have sole discretion to determine the successful bidder, or the disputed lot shall be offered again at the last undisputed bid and resold. BUYER'S PREMIUM / SALES TAX - The Buyer's Premium of 28% will be added to each successful bid. - PA Residents and all buyers who pick up merchandise in person are required to pay PA State Sales Tax (6%) on each sale, including the buyer's premium, unless exempted by law. - Live Auctioneers will collect sales tax in all other states as applicable. Sales tax is based on the bidders stated Shipping Address. - If you have a tax exemption number, you must add it to your Live Auctioneers account. We are unable to remove sales tax from an invoice if there is no tax exemption certificate registered to the account. - Note: your sales tax exemption must be from the same state as your shipping address in order for sales tax to be removed. PAYMENT - Successful on-line bidders will be notified following the auction and will be provided an invoice and payment details. - The Live Auctioneers Auto Pay feature is enabled for this auction. If you wish to opt out of Auto Pay, please inform Briggs Auction either before the auction, or prior to the Auto Pay date noted on your invoice. - Full payment may be made via the Live Auctioneers "Pay Now" button; through Live Auctioneer's Auto Pay; you may mail a check, which must clear before any item will be released for pickup or shipping; or by wire transfer, please contact us for details. - Payment in full is due within fourteen (14) days of the auction if you opt out of Auto Pay. MERCHANDISE PICKUP | SHIPPING | STORAGE FEES - Merchandise Pickup Location: The Dust Shuttle, 103 W. Franklin St., Media, PA 19063 - Pickup is available Saturday, June 17 from 9AM - 3PM; Sunday, June 18 from 9AM - 3PM; Monday, June 19 from 9AM - 3PM, and Tuesday, June 20 from 9AM - 3PM with no appointment needed. - All items must be removed or have shipping arranged within 30 days of the auction before $5/day storage fees begin to accrue. After 90 days, items will be deemed abandoned. - No item may be removed or will be released for shipping until full payment of merchandise has been made. - Buyers are responsible for ensuring that they have their own packing materials and equipment needed to collect their items. - Bidders who pick up their purchased items in person are responsible for examining all items at the time of pickup and assuring themselves as to condition before removing any item. No item may be returned for condition issues once it has been removed from Briggs Auction, and no refund or merchandise credit will be offered for any item's condition after it has been picked up and removed by the bidder. Shipping: - Briggs Auction does NOT provide shipping, however, we work with a variety of shippers who can handle any item in the auction. All taxable items in this auction, including the buyer's premium, are subject to the sales tax charged by the state shown on the bidder's Live Auctioneers registration. Bidders who pick up their items in person will be charged the PA 6% sales tax, and bidders who have items shipped will be charged the tax rate of the bidder's shipping address in their Live Auctioneers registration, unless you provide Live Auctioneers with a current, valid tax exemption license.
