Celadon and Da Yazhai Collection Auction
Goryeo celadon was fired during the Goryeo Dynasty (10th to 14th centuries, 918-1392) and can be classified into celadon, white porcelain, black porcelain, millet porcelain, inlaid porcelain, decorative porcelain, and painted gold porcelain according to color and decoration techniques. Dayazhai, developed in the 10th century and continued until the 14th century, was one of the types of palace porcelain produced in Jingdezhen in the late Qing Dynasty, representing the highest level of palace porcelain in the late Qing Dynasty. This auction is a collection of exquisite Korean celadon and palace elegant houses that entered the hands of Canadian collectors during the 20th century (1910-1940)
