Internet buyers will pay 28% buyers premium & are responsible for sales tax unless they have Resale Tax Exempt in the state of Shipping address . Internet buyers that pick up at gallery are responsible for NY sales tax. Wire transfer is required as payment for international bidders . Wire Transfer or Bank Check required for any purchase above $5,000.If an item is bid on by mistake the bidder will be charged for the Buyers Premium Lots may have reserves or minimum selling prices. This confidential figure is set by the consignor and Echoes Antiques & Auction Gallery, Inc. will exercise all reserve bids. The record of sale kept by the auction house is final in any dispute. Buyer takes responsibility of the property as soon as the item gets 'sold on the block'.
