As come to expect from Augusta Auctions- this sale features something for every vintage lover or collector. Highlights include -A rare Raoul Dufy attributed printed silk day dress -Couture by Dior, Balenciaga & Chanel -Other vintage wearable from the extensive collection of a Texas socialite include works by Nina Ricci, Lilli Ann, Pierre Cardin, Pauline Trigere, Geoffrey Beene, Comme des Garcons, Bob Mackie, Zandra Rhodes, Gucci, Thierry Mugler, Halston, Pucci, YSL, Thea Porter, and many more. This auction will include clothing, textiles and accessories from numerous museums including a collection of early Issey Miyake from The Museum at FIT. Day, evening and party dresses from the 1910s-1930s deaccessioned from The University of Connecticut.
