Eminent Auctions may place bids on behalf of the consignor for such lots UP to the reserve amount. Maximum bids placed for lots with reserves will be automatically raised UP TO, BUT NOT ABOVE, the reserve amount or the maximum bid if the reserve exceeds it. If a bid approaches the reserve amount, we may choose to sell the item below the set reserve. Please note that some lots may have a 'Hidden Reserve,' meaning that if the lot fails to meet its designated reserve, it will either be 'passed' or, if there are existing bids, sold to the floor (meaning the item was not sold).
