We are excited to announce that the auctions are back live and in-person at the Salmagundi Club. Salmagundi is home to the oldest continuous art auction in New York, held each spring and fall since the late 1870's. In the past, the historic auctions, along with pledges from patron members, brought in enough money to purchase the beautiful building that the Salmagundi Club calls home today. The auctions are and always have been an integral part of the club as a fundraising effort. A preview of the auction works is available to see in our Rockwell gallery before auction night. Back by popular demand is Del-Bourree Bach as our auctioneer! The live auction, held in Salmagundi's skylight gallery, will be divided into two evenings: a session on Thursday, October 19th and another on Thursday, October 26th, both at 7:30 PM. To register to attend in-person, please do so via Eventbrite. Those who cannot be there in-person will have the option of registering their bids in advance here via the online LiveAuctioneers platform, or bidding in real-time by coming to this page on the night of the auction.
