The Donald F. Moylan, M.D. Collection of American Furniture, Folk and Decorative Arts will be offered at Hindman on November 3. The first of two sessions will include early painted furniture, carved and painted wood Masonic boxes, folk portraiture, sculpture, weathervanes, advertising, landscapes of New England and the American mid-west, portrait miniatures, globes, early maps, needlework samplers and other textiles. The collection shows the true breadth of the category with works from as early as the late 17th century to the mid-20th century. The second session of the Donald F. Moylan, MD. Collection will be offered in March 2024.
