The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. The auctioneer has the right to reject any bid, to advance the bidding at his absolute discretion and bid increment, and, in the event of any dispute between bidders, to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the lot in dispute. Should there be any discrepancy of price after the sale, Castner's record shall be conclusive. Castner's reserves the right to withdraw, add, amend, or change any lot before or at the sale. We are not responsible for misplaced, stolen, or left goods. Items purchased at gallery sales which are at the gallery for 4 days or more become our possession and the buyer relinquishes any right to said item(s), or any compensation. Leaving items at any on-site auction is done solely at the risk of the buyer. The buyer shall, at the time of purchase, pay any sales tax which is applicable. A properly completed NJ ST3 Resale certificate must be on file prior to purchase to exempt such tax. Buyers of motor vehicles shall pay tax upon registration at Division of Motor Vehicles.
