Annual Fall Live Public Art Auction

Berman/Turner Projects at Bergamot Station Arts Center will be holding their annual fall contemporary and modern fine art auction through Santa Monica Auctions on Sunday November 13 at 1 p.m. Los Angeles’ boutique auction house, which has been independently owned and operated since 1984, auctions local artists as well as international art icons in all mediums including sculpture, photography, painting, drawing, and limited edition prints and multiples. Featured in this upcoming auction is an Andy Warhol canvas from 1981, picturing one of the first professional movie cameras. This was originally part of a triptych (muich museaum) Also by Warhol will be a rare 1968 multiple from Ten from Leo Castelli, a portfolio including the works of Rauschenberg, Bontecou, Stella, Lichtenstein, Johns, and Poons. Also in this auction, from the remaining archives of Joseph Browner, the brother of Juliet Man Ray will be prints and photographs kept by Juliet and Joseph in his personal collection, never before available for sale.
