The Estate Collection of Lyn Jansen

The Lyn Jansen collection represents over 40 years of meticulous collecting. The core of Lyn's collection is represented by outstanding examples of figural Staffordshire animals. Purchased primarily from some of England's top specialists to include John Howard, Andrew Dando and numerous other BADA specialists. The collection shows some of the rarest examples available on the market, ranging from the mid 18th century on, into the 19th century. Lyn's penchant for figurative objects extended to match safes and holders, still banks, inkwells and wood carvings. A fairly extensive offering of Canadian scenic pottery will be offered including a rare arctic scene example. The furniture selection crosses many collecting boundaries to include fine Canadiana examples, traditional formal along with European carved oak in various forms. The sale is filled with rare, unusual objects, and curiosities - this sale is not to be missed.
