Indian Artifacts Auction

Terms: Visa and MasterCard accepted. A 16% Buyer's Premium will be added to all purchases. As a convenience to purchasers, the Auctioneer will assist in shipping. On any item shipped by the auction company, the buyer will pay the actual cost of packing, shipping and insurance. Items shipped out of KY will not be subject to 6% KY Sales tax. Items shipped within KY or picked up at the Auction Center will be subject to 6% KY sale tax, unless we have your tax exemption certificate on file. All artifacts in are guaranteed to be as identified. We have attempted to accurately describe all items presented in the auction. All photos are of the individual items being offered for sale, with no modifications or enhancements. It is the responsibility of the bidder, whether bidding in person, by phone, by absentee or through live internet bidding, to determine the exact age, condition, size, quality, variety, importance, provenance or historical significance of any item offered. No statement, bill of sale, or statements made by Mark Mattox Auctions will be deemed as a warranty. All sales are considered final on items purchased live on the floor the day of the Auction, on multiple item lots, on groups of relics, on historic and unrelated Indian artifacts, and on any artifact that is accompanied by a previously documented Certificate of Authenticity. There will be absolutely no returns or adjustments made beyond 22 days of closing of the Auction date. In order for any artifact to qualify for a return, it must be returned in exact sale condition within the 22 day period accompanied with a letter of explanation from a qualified and experienced examiner. If you are unable to attend the auction and are bidding by phone, absentee or live internet, you may contact us by phone prior to the day of the auction to answer questions you may have about individual items. Some items in the auction are being offered at a Public Auction with Reserve, where the Seller or Seller's Agent shall reserve the right to bid on behalf of the Seller in order to help them obtain the minimum acceptable amount they are willing to accept for an item.
