Sales Terms & Conditions of Sale The following conditions of sale make the entire terms and conditions for the items listed in our catalogue (online) offered for sale by 23 Collectors Auctions Pty Ltd. 23 Collectors is a small Queensland based online auction. We do not host auctions or have a location for viewing lots. Instead, we are a unique group of 23 key Australian Collectors who have come together to sell their lifelong collections, giving buyers the opportunity to learn from their experience and purchase quality lots in the one place. The items won online will be posted and cannot be collected in person as they are not held in one location. Instead, we collate winning lots and then organise postage for you (see below). We look forward to growing our business with you, and for you. Please enjoy. Payment Fees. All payments for items won require payment in full within three days of receipt of invoice. Nonpayers will be reported to Live Auctioneers and policy processes will be carried out by them on behalf of 23 Collectors. At conclusion of an auction, you will expect to receive an invoice for your purchase. This will include Hammer price (the total price the item reached in auction), The buyer’s premium that goes to the auction company (and includes GST) and this is set at 22% + GST. Postage will be organised once the invoice has been paid in full. All items posted will be insured and registered and sent to you at the whatever cost has been allocated by Australia Post. 23 Collectors will charge a flat rate of $10AU to cover all packing materials etc. Please note, once the item has been lodged and sent, we can no longer assist except to provide tracking details as this is all Australia post provides. 23 Collectors are a company located across Australia. We have a nominated trust account compliant with legislative guidelines and payment for lots won can be deposited into this account directly, using the detail found on your invoice, or paid by any of the other methods offered in the invoice. Auctions are processed as timed auctions. When the timer runs out, the highest bid is the winning bid. All final bid prices will be subject to a buyer’s premium, inclusive of GST of 22% of the final price. The buyer’s premium price is added to your successful bid and the two together make up your purchase price. Auction sales are strictly by credit card (Mastercard & Visa), PayPal, Direct Debit or Wire transfer. All sales are final at the conclusion of the lot. At the end of the timed auction, the highest bidder will have purchased the offered lot. The purchase is subject to all the terms and conditions set forth herein. The purchaser assumes full responsibility thereof. All items purchased must be paid for within 48 hours. We reserve the right to withdraw any property prior to sale, to pass items or make changes prior to the auction. Any changes made will be included on the day of the auction as an amendment. All bidders will be contacted by email to provide a summary of their final purchases. All successful bidders are required to pay for their purchases on invoice, and will be notified on the cost of packaging, freight and insurance on successful bids and charged at appropriate rates. Once items have been paid in full and funds cleared through our account, including shipping costs, the items will be sent. We use Australia Post and Australia Post international for all items and items will be insured and tracked. Note: Insurance will cover the purchase price of the lot/s, and this is regardless of the true or market value of the items. This means if you purchase an item/s below market value, insurance only covers what you paid, not what you could potentially on sell the item/s for. GST is included in the bidding price. All property offered for sale is as is. 23 Collectors Auctions Pty Ltd does not guarantee or make warranties on any lot sold. Description in the catalogue are based on the specialist who submits item/s for sale and are written as a guide to potential bidders, not a guarantee unless otherwise stated. We acknowledge that there may be errors in what is written. If you bid on it and you are successful, then you own it. We strongly recommend you make your opinion based on the images provide or ask further detail from the auction house. 23 Collectors Auctions Pty Ltd are under no obligation to refund any item. Items offered for sales in catalogue, bill of sale, advertisements, website etc. are qualified statements of opinion and representation. If you are not sure of any item (even after correspondence) PLEASE DO NOT BID. Acceptance of a bidder registration in conjunction with a recognised bid constitutes acceptance of the Terms & Conditions of Sale. Some terms used: Circa: Means around about the date of manufacture. Style: Regarding items such as Third Reich in some cases it is very hard to tell original items from old film copies and re-enactors used items, if we are unable to authenticate items and if we are unsure, then we will put in our opinion or use wording (or similar wording to) ‘appears to be.’ This does not mean the item is not genuine, it just means were commend buyers make up their own mind. We do stress there are no guarantees or warranties and no refund on any item/s. Buyers Guide/Estimated Prices: A price guide has been put in place to assist people when bidding and reflects what value these items are believed to be worth. In past auctions some items have been sold under the buyer’s guide price and some have sold well over the price guide prices. It is designed to be estimate only.
