PREVIEW
Wednesday through Friday from 10am to 6pm EST and Saturday ? Sunday 10am to 5pm EST. Visit BuntingOnlineAuctions.com for all updated information.
1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. This is NOT a retail environment; this is a FINAL SALE AUCTION. There are no cancelations, returns, restocking, refunds, or exchanges. NO EXCEPTIONS. According to Maryland law a winning auction bidder automatically enters a legal and binding purchase contract with the auction house. Bunting Auctions has a ZERO TOLERANCE Policy regarding non-paying bidders and will pursue all available options to collect on any unpaid invoices. Storage fees and legal/collection fees may also be added to past due invoices.
2.Condition and Descriptions. Any condition statement is given as a courtesy to a potential Bidder or Buyer, is only an opinion, and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Bunting shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that a lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging. Any statements made by Bunting with respect to a lot whether in a condition report, Bunting catalog, or on the Bunting website, orally or in writing, are intended as statements of opinion only, are not to be relied upon as statements of fact, and do not constitute representations or warranties of any kind. All measurements and weights are approximate, rounded up to the nearest inch & provided for shipping estimation purposes only, with no guarantee of accuracy. If you require exact measurements, please use the "ask a question" button on the item page. Descriptions we make about lots may not describe all faults or restorations. Bunting undertakes no obligation to Bidders or the Buyer to examine, investigate or carry out any tests, either in sufficient depth or at all, on each lot to establish the accuracy or otherwise of any Descriptions or opinions given by Bunting, or by any person on Bunting?s behalf, whether in the Catalogue or elsewhere. Bidders and the Buyer should not suppose that such examinations, investigations, or tests have occurred. Illustrations and photographs of any lots are for identification purposes only. A photograph or illustration may not reflect an accurate reproduction of the color(s) or true condition of the lot. It is for Buyer to satisfy yourself as to each and every aspect of a lot, including its authorship, attribution, condition, provenance, history, background, authenticity, style, period, age, suitability, quality, roadworthiness (if relevant), origin, value and estimated selling price (including the Hammer Price). No description or report about a lot is a substitute for your own examination of a lot.
It is the Bidders responsibility to ensure the condition of the lots meet with their satisfaction BEFORE bidding. Most items are preowned and will have signs of use. New items may have flaws or show signs of handling. ALL BIDDERS ARE ADVISED TO ASK QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING. While great care is given regarding descriptions, all statements are opinion only, please review the photos carefully. Bunting Auctions assumes no responsibility for any error or omission. IF YOU ARE IN DOUBT THAT THE LOT WILL MEET WITH YOUR SATISFACTION YOU ARE ADVISED NOT TO BID. All lots are sold As Is and without recourse and neither Bunting nor the consignor makes any warranties or representations, express or implied, with respect to such lots. DO NOT BID ON ANY LOT UNLESS YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH YOUR OPINION OF ITS PROVENANCE, CONDITION, SIZE, AND WHETHER OR NOT IT HAS BEEN REPAIRED OR RESTORED.
3. Buyer's Premium: All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The Buyer?s Premium for any one auction lot is twenty-five (25) percent of the gross hammer price up to and including $20,000 and 20% for any one auction lot over $20,000.
Bidders. Any person participating in or registering for the Auction agrees to be bound by and accepts these Terms and Conditions of the Auction. All Bidders must meet Auctioneer's qualifications to bid. Any Bidder who is not a client in good standing of the Auctioneer may be disqualified at Auctioneer?s sole option and will not be awarded lots. Such determination may be made by Auctioneer in its sole and unlimited discretion, at any time prior to, during, or even after the close of the Auction. The Auctioneer reserves the right to exclude any person from the auction. If an entity places a bid for someone else, then the person executing the bid on behalf of the entity agrees to personally guarantee payment for any successful bid.
ESTIMATE 4. If an estimate is given for a lot, it should not be relied on as a prediction of the actual selling price. Estimates, if given, are only an expression of Bunting's opinion made on behalf of the Seller of the range where Bunting believes the final hammer price for the lot is likely to fall; it is not an estimate of value. It does not consider any Buyer's Premium payable or any other fees payable by the Buyer. Prices depend upon bidding, and lots can sell for hammer prices below and above the estimates, so estimates should not be relied on as an indication of the actual selling price or value of a lot. Lots are likely to be second-hand, of varying condition, offered for the purpose of display or appreciation as objects only, and are sold to the Buyer on an ?as is? basis, with all faults and imperfections. Bunting Auctions reserves the right to change the starting bid, asking bid or estimates on any lot at any time. Some items in this auction may have reserves. Consigners or their agents may not bid on their own items, however, Bunting Auctions may advance the bid on behalf of the consigner to meet an item?s reserve price. The auctioneer may pass or withdraw an item at any time before it is pronounced sold.
Bunting Auctions makes no guarantees or warranties of any kind with respect to the property or its value, and in no event will Bunting Auctions be responsible for the accuracy of an item's description, condition or estimate of value. Descriptions and conditions provided are opinions and courtesies only. All items will be available for preview and inspection prior to the auction. All bidders or their agents are encouraged to preview in person. You may also request a more detailed condition report and/or photos prior to the start of the auction. The photos provided form a portion of the condition report. Condition and photo requests must be made by email a minimum of 72 hrs. before auction start. Bunting Auction will do it?s best to respond to all requests placed, regardless of the proximity to the auction?s close, but cannot guarantee a response will be given to requests within 72 hours of an auction?s close.
Bidding at Auction: The highest bidder recognized by the auctioneer will be the Buyer. In the event of a tie bid, the earliest bid received or recognized wins. The Auctioneer?s decision and declaration of the winning Bidder shall be final and binding upon all Bidders. The successful bidder will be personally responsible to pay the hammer price plus a Buyer?s Premium of twenty-five (258) percent of the gross hammer price up to and including $20,000 and 20% over $20,000 (Buyer's Premium), plus applicable sales tax. Bids properly offered, whether by Internet Bidder or other means of bidding, may on occasion be missed or go unrecognized; in such cases, the Auctioneer may declare the recognized bid accepted as the winning bid, regardless of whether a competing bid may have been higher. After the hammer falls, the Auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids and reopen bidding for bids placed through the Internet or otherwise. Regardless of placed bids, Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot, or any part of a lot, from the Auction at any time prior to the opening of any such lot by the auctioneer.
The auctioneer reserves the right to reject a bid from any bidder. The winning bidder will be the highest bidder as determined by the auctioneer. The auctioneer has sole authority to resolve any disputes. Bunting Auctions will not be responsible for any failure to execute absentee, electronic or phone bids due to human error or electronic failures of any kind. The Auctioneer may pause or end the auction at any time.
BIDDING ERRORS. Bunting Auction will not cancel the sale of an item due to an accidental click, technical error, or user error. Regardless of the circumstances, if you place a bid and subsequently win that item, you have purchased it. Bunting Auction cannot be responsible for Bidders and Buyers errors in bidding or the entry of bids.
ABSENTEE MAXIMUM BIDS CANNOT BE RETRACTED LESS THAN 2 HOURS PRIOR TO THE LISTED AUCTION START TIME OR ONCE THE AUCTION HAS STARTED. If the Auctioneer reduces a bid and a bid is submitted at a higher amount the auctioneer may choose to accept the higher bid amount and is not obligated to reduce the bid to the lower asking amount. In the event of any dispute between any Bidders at an Auction, Auctioneer may at their sole discretion reoffer the lot. Internet bids will only be accepted from pre-registered Bidders. Bunting Auction accepts bids from the internet and telephone from registered clients. Bunting WILL NOT ACCEPT PHONE bids once the Auction begins. Any third-party representative bidding on behalf of a third party is personally responsible for any purchase made.
8. All Sales Are Final: All sales are final. Quantities and conditions must be checked before removal from Bunting, as adjustments will not be made after removal from the premises. The purchaser assumes full responsibility for items at the fall of the hammer. Bunting Auctions is not responsible for the loss of any item or for damage to a lot after the lot is pronounced sold. This includes but is not limited to any damage incurred from storage or movement in our warehouse, while loading, during transport / delivery or when removing any lot stickers or identifying tags. SHIPPING We offer local pickup and in-house shipping on items small enough to ship regular mail/UPS. Items must be shipped to the shipping address on your invoice. Larger items requiring freight shipping must be coordinated by the buyer. Bunting is happy to work with any freight shipper you choose. LiveAuctioneers offers assistance in this regard. LiveAuctioneers has partnered with vetted providers to offer convenient shipping within the U.S. for purchases in this auction. The estimated shipping cost is based on the zip code you provided, the estimated size and weight of the item, and the designated shipping vendor. The cost includes item pickup, packing, shipping, delivery and insurance. Your actual shipping cost is subject to change based on the final price and insurance value of your item. If you do not see an estimated shipping cost in your invoice or on the item page, and would like to request a free quote, please contact them at packaging@liveauctioneers.com. In case of loss or mishandling by the carrier we will provide you with the tracking information and invoices so that you can file a claim. We do not file the claims ourselves. It still takes 10-14 business days after the auction to ship all the items, as there are many items to prepare after each auction and it takes time. It is the responsibility of the buyer to remove purchased property at his or her expense after the auction, request shipping on packageable items, or to MAKE SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS FOR ITEMS REQUIRING FREIGHT SHIPPING. Please note that shipping charges can be expensive, in some cases more than the cost of the item, it is strongly recommended that bidders obtain a quote prior to bidding. It is the buyer's responsibility to get any quotes & coordinate pick up of their item. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PICK YOUR ITEMS UP, USE OUR IN-HOUSE SHIPPING, OR ARE UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO COORDINATE SHIPPING OF YOUR ITEM YOU ARE ADVISED NOT TO BID. BUNTING AUCTIONS IS NOT A STORAGE FACILITY. Notification of shipping arrangements or requests for additional time must be submitted via Liveauctioneers Message or Email - Verbal/Phone notification is not acceptable. If you do not receive a reply from us confirming receipt of your message / email, then we did not receive it & you should continue to attempt to contact us. Once storage charges begin to accrue no items will be released until the storage charges are paid for in full. Bunting Auctions DOES NOT generally accept the reconsignment of unwanted lots (in whole or in part) that customers purchased during one of our auctions.
