May Premier Coins & Currency Auction

This one-owner collection comes from a long-forgotten safe containing our consignor's grandfather's collection; the grandfather, noted as a banker during the 1st and 2nd quarters of the 20th century in Chicago, IL, clearly had an exceptional taste, and we are thrilled to offer such an array of rare specimens; all of which were found originally ungraded. The best of the collection is just back from grading, and the rarities seem endless. Several notes in this sale represent populations under 5, and dozens and dozens more represent populations?under 50. Highlights include approximately 50 U.S. and world gold coins, 34x graded gold certificates, over 40 GSA hoard Morgan Silver Dollars including two extremely rare varieties, a world-class?collection of Federal Reserve Bank Notes; many with very low populations, a smattering of rare star note examples, all manners and rarities of graded silver certificates, a broad offering of scarce Legal Tender notes, over $30,000 FV in un-searched vintage notes in denominations from $20 to $100, graded Federal Reserve notes including two $1000 examples, National Bank examples, early American silver coinage, graded US coins, and much more! Don't miss this opportunity to acquire some of the finest currency ever?offered at auction from an Alaskan collection; everything opens at $5 and is being sold without reserve.?We hope you can join us for an unforgettable auction experience on May 19th.
