Welcome to our autumn sale of Coins & Medals featuring over 300 lots including hammered coinage, gold sovereigns, proof and specimen sets, coronation, sporting and one of our largest selections of military medals. Highlights include a piece of militaria history, in collection of medals and regalia belonging to General Sir John Hart Dunne K.C.B., which includes a Crimean War group of medals, sabre, sword and Royal letter (Lots 298-301). Also featured in the auction is a rare Waterloo Medal awarded to Archibald Clark of the 92nd Regiment of Highland Infantry, Captain Dougald Campbell?s Company, Clark was rendered unfi t for service due to a wound received through the right knee from a musket ball in action with the enemy at Quatre Bras on the 16th of June 1815 (Lot 168).
