Our July 10th and 11th Mid-Week at STAIR sales offer two days of modern and traditional fine art, furniture and decorations from several interesting collections and estates including a single owner sequence of works from the Collection of James Grafstein on July 10th. Mr. Grafstein was a well-respected dealer and a friend to many in the antiques community. Trained in France at the Muse? du Louvre, his knowledge of 18th Century French Decorative Arts was renowned. Also included on Day One is an impressive group of Asian Works of Art, followed by a curated selection of fine and decorative arts from various private collections. Day Two on July 11th features works from the Collection of Gordon and Zanne Stewart alongside property from various private collections and estates, including accents for the garden. The Collection of Gordon and Zane Stewart is an eclectic collection that represents the interests of the Stewarts across multiple collecting categories, reflecting a life-long interest in art, history and a world view shaped by travel and academic pursuits.
