Condition Statement It is the buyer's responsibility to be knowledgeable about the condition of the property before bidding. This is a live auction, and the buyer is advised to inspect the items in person during the week prior to the auction. As a courtesy, Cottone Auctions makes condition reports available prior to the auction. However, any statements made in condition reports, whether verbally or in writing, are statements of opinion only and should not be relied upon as statements of fact. Requests for condition reports should be received by the Gallery no later than 12pm eastern time on the day before the auction. Condition reports can be found in the ONLINE catalog. IMPORTANT NOTICES Important notice: Cottone Auctions usually auctions items at approximately 80 lots per hour. On some occasions your local Internet connection may not be able to keep up with the pace of the auction. We recommend placing a realistic absentee bid on LiveAuctioneers as insurance to avoid disappointment. By bidding via LiveAuctioneers, you agree that Cottone?s may award the lot to another bidder at its sole discretion under the circumstances described above or any other reasonable circumstances. Since LiveAuctioneers internet bids are not shown to us until we open the lot on the floor, we treat those bids just like floor bids. In most cases the floor responds before the internet bid is presented to us, due to possible Internet lag time, so for consistency we have made it a policy that floor bids are always considered first over internet bids. This lot is being auctioned in conjunction with a live floor auction by Cottone Auctions. All final auction and invoice information will be supplied by Cottone Auctions, and all other information should be considered preliminary. Winning Notification and Billing: After the FINAL session in this auction is complete. Cottone Auctions will send e-mail invoices. This process normally takes up to 48 hours. Cottone Auctions' buyers premium is 20% and will be added to the hammer price of each lot. We ask for your patience as your purchase will be released upon notice that your payment has cleared. NY state residents are charged 8% sales tax, unless a valid tax exempt number is provided. Visa and MasterCard are accepted for invoices up to $20,000 per customer. If a client does not pay within 10 days of the auction, the credit card number provided to establish your bidding account will be charged in full for any invoice amount due.
