An enthusiastic supporter of preservation, Mr. Schwartz consistently advocates on behalf of and for the benefit of artwork and cultural property. This clarity of vision provides a reliable compass to navigate the treacherous currents and ever-changing trends in conservation ethics. Paintings, works on paper, and frames constitute the majority of the objects treated on a regular basis. In addition, Mr. Schwartz provides a variety of services: archival custom picture framing, conservation exhibit framing, condition reports and surveys, examination and documentation, scientific photography and analysis, conservation planning, environmental assessment, disaster planning and recovery, exhibit and storage design and fabrication, as well as teaching and lecturing.
