This multi-consignor auction features WWII memorabilia, upscale collectibles, antiques, Japanese art and more. Many of the items in this auction were from a collector who lived abroad for 12 years and has continued to travel the world. While living overseas, she spent a number of years writing and designing bilingual, cultural publications which ended up in the homes of ambassadors, Buddhist priests, Spanish admirals, and even the Japanese Royal Family. Much of her time abroad was also spent exploring small towns as well as the backstreets of big cities in search of rustic antiques, art objects and other cultural treasures. The items in this auction came from her forays into the shrine sales of Tokyo.
