Terms & Conditions
The purchaser of each lot in the auction shall be the person deemed to be the highest bidder by the auctioneer.
If a dispute should arise as to who is the highest bidder then it shall be at the auctioneers discretion to either offer
the item for sale again or to continue bidding from the last un-disputed bid.
The auctioneer has the right to bid on behalf of the vendor on reserved items to help to attain the reserve price.
All winning bids in the auction are subject to a buyers premium of 15% plus Vat at a rate of 23%
No purchased items of furniture shall be removed from the auction room during the auction, smaller items can be
removed only with the assistance of a porter.
No items shall be removed from the auction rooms without they been first fully paid for and the relevant
documentation presented to a porter.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the items they are bidding on have been viewed properly during the viewing period. (condition reports on request)Not all defects are stated in description, Defects detected after sale by the purchaser will not void sale.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to remove all purchased items from the sale room within a period of
two (2) working days. Storage charges will apply to items on a per day basis after this time.
Shipping can be arranged for all purchased items or purchasers can arrange their own shipping, an onsite packing service is also available.
The auctioneer reserves the right not to accept bids offered by any person or persons without giving reason
for this action.
Any lots purchased, that for whatever reason shall be found to be surplus to requirements may be re-entered
for the next available auction date subject to sellers fee of 15% plus. Vat at 23%
Auctioneer shall have final say in describing ant items entered fro the auction.
The term A/F used in catalogue descriptions means ( As Found) or ( At Fault)
The winning bidder is responsible for all expenses incurred for shipping and packing
