TERMS AND CONDITIONS All items are sold ?as is? and ?where is.? We do our best to accurately describe the condition of items, but condition terms are subjective. Please consider the photographs as part of the description and use them as part of your assessment of the overall condition of an item. We strongly suggest potential buyers ask for condition reports and additional photos to ensure they are clear on the condition of items before bidding. Once sold there are no returns. The Antique and Artisan Gallery strives to describe and attribute items as accurately as possible but does not warrant authenticity on any piece. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ascertain authenticity prior to purchase. Absence of a condition report does not imply the item is in perfect condition or free from wear, imperfections, damages or other effects of use and age. In no event shall statements in the catalog, catalog description or made verbally by representatives of The Antique and Artisan Gallery be considered a warranty, guarantee or assumption of liability pertaining to the condition, attribution, or authenticity of an item. The Antique and Artisan Gallery is not responsible for errors and omissions in the catalog or any other material. Bidding approval and acceptance on any bidding platform is at the discretion of The Antique and Artisan Gallery. The Antique and Artisan Gallery reserves the right to withdraw any lot for any reason, cancel the sale or reject any bid. The Antique and Artisan Gallery has sole discretion in the case of error or dispute with respect to bidding and the determination of the successful bidder. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer is considered the buyer. Upon the fall of the auctioneers? hammer, the title of each lot passes to the highest acknowledged bidder after which any loss by breakage, theft, fire, or any other causes is the sole responsibility of the buyer. LIMITS OF LIABILITY In no event and under no circumstance will the liability of The Antique and Artisan Gallery to a purchaser exceed the purchase price actually paid. JURISDICTION This auction takes place in Connecticut. All invoices, documents, contracts, conditions, rights and obligations are governed by the laws and judicial system of the State of Connecticut. BUYERS PREMIUM A buyers premium of 25% will be added to the hammer price. The invoice will include the hammer price, buyers premium and sales tax where applicable. SALES TAX/ RESALE TAX EXEMPTION All purchases are subject to 6.35% Connecticut sales tax with the following exceptions: (1) the buyer is an out of state resident and the lot is being shipped out of state by a certified shipper who presents a bill of lading at the time of pick up. (2) the buyer has a valid tax resale number on file with The Antique and Artisan Gallery. We accept resale tax numbers from all states, but the resale tax form must be completely filled out and received prior to time of purchase. Items picked up at our location without a valid resale certificate will be subject to CT sales tax. By registering to bid and bidding in our auction you confirm that you have read and agree to our terms and conditions.

If you have not contacted The Antique and Artisan Gallery to arrange payment within 1 day of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
