January Asian Art and Antiques

Kaminski Auctions is hosting a January Asian Auction to begin the New Year by showcasing fine porcelain, paintings, exceptional bronzes and jade and ivory pieces. Items of particular interest in this sale include a rare and important Chinese gilt bronze disc from the 18th/19th century, inlaid with a white jade carving of Confucius, on a carved rosewood stand, from a New York collector. Another exceptional piece is a Chinese porcelain famille rose palette candle holder, decorated with a scrolling flower design and auspicious motifs. Also featured in this sale are some decorative Indian ivory boxes and intricately carved jades.
