We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No guarantee is made that any item complies with applicable laws or regulations. 2. Buyer’s Premium A buyer’s premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot and is payable by the buyer as part of the total purchase price. This premium applies to all bids, including those made in person, via phone, absentee, or online. Buyer’s premium structure: $0–$5,000: 25% $5,001–$10,000: 23% $10,001 and above: 21% 3. Withdrawal of Property We reserve the right to withdraw any lot prior to the sale. 4. Payment Terms All bids and payments must be made in U.S. dollars. We accept payment via wire transfer and all major credit cards. 5. Estimates Estimates are provided as a guide only and do not guarantee actual value or sale price. Realized prices may differ significantly from estimates. 6. Jurisdiction All legal matters arising from this sale shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Venue shall be within the courts of Cook County. 7. Claims & Disputes Any claims must be submitted in writing via certified mail within 90 days of the final day of the auction. Claims received after this period will not be accepted. 8. Sales Tax Buyers are responsible for all applicable state and local sales taxes unless a valid exemption certificate is submitted prior to the sale. 9. Online Participation By bidding online, buyers consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State of Illinois. 10. Shipping & Handling Shipping and handling charges are the responsibility of the buyer. We offer in-house professional fine art shipping, or can assist with recommendations for qualified art handlers. All shipping expenses must be paid in full prior to release. 11. Condition Reports We are pleased to provide condition reports or additional information upon request.
