All items are sold AS-IS and will have a buyers premium added onto the winning bid.Payment.
If you are the winning bidder it is your responsibility to make payment arrangements for the items.
By placing a bid on any item, as the high bidder and/or winning bidder, you are entering a legal contract and by bidding in our auction you are accepting all our terms and conditions.
Packing & Shipping will be 100% buyers financial responsibility. The auction house will carefully package your winning lots and ship promptly. In the event of loss or damage during shipment, the auction house will start an insurance claim, and once the claim is paid, the winning bidder will be refunded for the item. For additional detail, inquire with the auction house. All packages will have tracking numbers and will be insured. Report shipping deficiencies within 7 days of delivery for any valid reimbursements. Include photographs and any other documentation, when possible.
Winning lots will be shipped in one box when practical and safe. The auction house will sent the winning bidders a shipping estimate within 48 hours of the auction when it does not appear on the initial invoice.
Local pickup is available by appointment only. Inquire with the auction house and arrangements will be made quickly and hopefully, conveniently.
Overseas bidders are responsible for any duties, custom?s fees, taxes, or other charges imposed by their countries? laws.
Paid invoices that have not paid for or arrange for pickup or shipping will be deemed abandoned after 60 days and disposed of at the discretion of the auction house. No refund will be given on abandoned items. If there are special circumstances requiring more time, let the auction house know before bidding or within 5 days of the invoice.
Buyers premium
Buyers premium will be added to each item won. The cost of the invoice and the buyer?s premiums are taxable items. If there are exceptions to this, it will be mentioned clearly with the lots.
Warranties and Guarantees
Although information on items deemed accurate the auctioneer makes no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. Should there be an egregious discrepancy in an item's description and the actual item, notify the auction house immediately.
If you feel that your credit card has been compromised, and you are the victim of fraud, you must notify the auction house immediately. We cooperate with all law enforcement agencies to prevent fraud.
Autopay
If you have not contacted BidFair Fine Jewelry to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
