The Boston and Newport Collections of a Distinguished British Family: Lots 127 – 157
A special section of the July 30 sale showcases furniture and decorations from The Boston and Newport Collections of a Distinguished British Family. The collection spans two generations, beginning with an American mother and British father who enlisted celebrated London decorator Kenneth Neame to create elegant interiors for their homes in Manhattan, Palm Beach and Gloucestershire. The next-generation owner expanded this collection with select pieces for his Boston Back Bay apartment and summer residence in Newport, Rhode Island.
