Their knowledge and scholarship in this area has attracted collectors throughout the world. Works from the collection have been exhibited and purchased by numerous museums, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Hong Kong Museum of Art, The Rietberg Museum Zurich, to name a few. Michael Weisbrod has also authored a myriad of catalogs and studies on Chinese Art and Antiquities. The majority of the works in this collection have not been viewed in over 20 years. This auction is a singular opportunity to purchase works that this venerated dealer had acquired when they operated their gallery on East 57th Street in New York.
