Returns and Refunds In the exceptional case that a refund is approved, the lot must be returned in the same condition as sold. Shipping or transportation costs will not be refunded under any circumstances. WorldArt Auction is not responsible for expenses incurred by third-party or professional authentication services, which are the sole responsibility of the buyer. 5. Limitation of Liability Except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct, WorldArt Auction will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from any purchase. Buyer's Premium and Tax Payment A 15% buyer's premium will be added to the final hammer price of each lot. Florida state sales tax (7.5%) will be applied to the total purchase price (hammer price + buyer's premium), unless the buyer presents a valid Certificate of Exemption (Form DR-14). The buyer is responsible for all bank charges and fees associated with their payment. 7. Online Auction and Technical Limitations WorldArt Auction offers online bidding services as a courtesy to participants. We do not guarantee the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform before or during the auction. We do not accept liability for delays, technical failures, bidding errors, or lost bids for any reason, whether caused by the buyer, the platform, or WorldArt Auction. Bids placed in error are the sole responsibility of the buyer. 8. Legal Contract If your bid is successful and accepted, it will be considered a legally binding contract for the purchase of the lot.
